It is the first time in history that the most important cycling event in the world, the Tour de France, starts from Italy.
- Stage 1: June 29, 2024 – Florence to Rimini
- Stage 2: June 30, 2024 – Cesenatico to Bologna
- Stage 3: July 1, 2024 – Bologna to Piacenza
To celebrate this event, the Alexander Bike Hotel in Gabicce Mare has invited their friend Claudio Chiappucci, who is well acquainted with the Tour de France as he has won three stages and in 1992, after a 200 km escape, he finished first at the Sestriere finish line, considering this achievement one of the greatest in the history of world cycling.
